Publications from Lightroom

Every publish from Lightroom Classic is a version of the gallery; this is their history.

How it works

The ShutterID plug-in sends a snapshot of the collection. When the upload finishes, it becomes the current state — what recipients see now — and the previous one is marked as superseded.

If a transfer stops halfway, recipients keep seeing the previous state.

States

  • Preparing / Uploading photos — the transfer is under way.
  • Published — this is what the gallery's recipients see now.
  • Failed transfer — it didn't finish; the gallery shows the previous state.
  • Superseded — replaced by a newer publication; it stays in the history.

Good to know

  • A gallery's publications are in its “⋯” menu; all of them, for the whole studio, in Studio → Metrics.
  • A transfer that is stuck can be abandoned from the list.
  • The plug-in is connected under Add-ons → Lightroom Classic.
